Opinions differ if you look at the wealth of discussion from the K-series caterham crowd. What's a 215TT conversion? Since an engine upgrade should consider all aspects of an engine, go with whatever the upgrader recommends. Significant changes can't be made in just one particular area.

This is a great K series page btw :-

Danny

Thanks for the info, have probably showed my ignorance of all things mechanical just judging by the boll@x I put in the title.

The 215 TT is a VVC engined Elise superscharged by Turbo Techics to 215bhp, although with the Janspeed manifold + exhaust, as you say, the ones they recommend, I shoud lget somewhere IRO of 225ish.

I might add that the brakes and suspension are being revised to coep with the additional power + a new rear diffuser to get more rear grip.

A smiplified qu ot my orginal one is what is the difference between the Janspeed manifold and the OEM one? bigger bore/better airflow?
