There seem to be alot of lada adapted lower ball joints around(which I can get here)
Has anyone bought genuine ones recently and put me in the right direction where to get some.
The trouble with the lada ones is while the holes can be adapted, they have a round bottom which will only fit snug on the wishbone seat as opposed to the originals which have about 10mm of staight shank.
Cheers
Paul

I would suggest trying TMS in Melton Mowbrey.

As I understand it, the standard lower ball joints are a Lada joint. The Lada joints come in different sizes and you need the correct size, although some people seem to have successfully adapted the 'wrong' size to fit. If you buy through a dealer/specialist it saves you the hassle of finding the right size.

Thanks Brin and Peter,I will try TMS today.
I have yet to come across a lada lower joint that is bang on.
I've tried a few UK TVR specialists, and their offering adapted lada joints, what is worrying about this is the joints are supported and more reliant on the three bolts rather than the snug fit into the wishbone aperture.
It would be nice to have a definetive answer as to what was used.
One thing for sure is the top ball joints are bang on Saab 900 early ninetey's.
Fecked if i'll be racing a 200+mph race car with Russian after market parts, although saying that if we could down here,I could always buy new..
