Yes...

A manager offered me a bribe to manipulate some figures once, but what she had failed to take into account was that I really respected the owner, he often used to come in on a Monday morning and spend half an hour chatting about cars.

So I told him her plans a quit the same day, she was a nasty piece of work and I didn't want to wait around for the fall out.

Yep.

Anyone who puts privilege before principal will end up losing the privileges.

I'm almost certain that I'm going to jack my job in tomorrow, it's a shame as I love the trade but to cut a long story short I exposed 'an employee' before i got the job.

What i do is run a large garage in Plymouth, the owner approached mewith a view to running the place so before I went for a coffee with the owner i went in undercover stylee and reported my findings.

Unbeknown to me the guy who wasn't doing his job properly was the Area Manager who now I'm in the position is making life very difficult for me and I've had enough?!

Fed up with the ongoing politics!

Yep. After three years of being treated like shit the boss comes into the studio with a client and starts bragging about how it costs more per hour to run his new yacht than it does to pay all the studio stuff combined.

Last straw, quit the next day along with most of the studio staff.

Tomorrow, a little worrying for a single guy with a mortgage but I'd rather be me than 'a number'

Sad but you have to do these things.

It's much easier to do than you think. Initial feelings are, how is am I going to get by, or if you have a family, I can't do this without causing them undue hardship. Best to have a plan or two and aim for one, but believe me, being happy is much to be preferred to being miserable. For one thing, no problem seems insurmountable.

Thanks Gareth, I need to do this, I adore what I do but it will never be right as long as the same people are above me, everything happens for a reason. I hope things go smoothly otherwise I won't be joining you for a beer in April!

Yes. The bd tried to blackmail me into sabotaging another companies computer to allow him to get his money that was (according to him) owed.
A very Evil and threating man. NO WAY. Byeeeee. Still owes me I recon about £15,000. Found out all sorts of things when I left. Running a company while bankrupt. Never paid any taxes. Using a false name. List goes on and on.

Hi hun!
Yes I was and still fancy doing my own thing it's just a bit daunting for someone who has to pay the whole mortgage and all the other bills etc.

It might be a forced option, not something I'm relishing but might just be the kick up the arse I need?

The last four jobs I have had have ended this way. That's why I'm now self employed.
