Can anyone beat this

Went to my Grandads 90th birthday on Saturday and aside from the many blood relatives that I haven't seen for 20 years or so, my Uncle had been working hard on the Family tree and had amazingly progressed back to the 1700's.
Not only that but my great great great great great great Grandfather on my dad's side was buried in a churchyard not to far away, so I went to have a look..
Standing by his, my great great great great great great Grandmothers, and their son's (great great great great great uncle?) graves, I marvelled at this couples achievement.
So thanks to my ancient relatives and the lack of central heating for mine and several hundred others existance.

My dad is a terrible snob about lineage etc, if I were to believe him, we are 2 steps closer to the royal family than eveyone else (not sure how he worked that one out).
He has also said that we are direct male line decendants of Rob Roy (again, no idea where he got that from).
What is true, however, is that Chequers used to belong to my granny's cousin... or something. He was called Lord Lee. But no, I don;t have anything to show for it and neither does she.
