nearly every travelling fair that i've seen has a vintage truck. maybe the next time you see one, either make an offer, or ask if they know of any?
Thats where i saw the Foden,if i end up there i might be auctioning the free Dag i get with it.
Where in Dorset can i find these scrapyards, always intersting to see whats in there.
Thaks for the rest of your ideas

Don't suppose you might consider a historically significant fire engine...?

Couldnt think of anything better than driving a bunch of girls down to Bournemouth and back in a Fire Tender with its own personal bar and sound system

Many thanks to... sb-1 ....who helped me contact another AEC enthusiast who i spent a couple of hours with on Saturday afternoon, this enthusiast sources and rebuild/restores old AEC's dating back many decades.
I felt very humbled when i left as the sort of mechanical feats he accomplishes makes my work look "Mickey Mouse",for example rebuilding a heat and rivet assembled 50 year old axle and also building an 8 wheeler tractor unit with rear & front wheel steer...amazing!
This old trucks top speed is around 34mph ,imagine taking a load up to Liverpool
,it would probably take around 11 hours.

,i could assemble male strippers dressed as fireman and drive them to clubs all over the south east at a set charge....what a good laugh and bird puller that would be.
