Gadget reviews & buying in the US

[theboyfold]

Popping over to the states in a week or so and I'm looking to pick up a Personal Video Player (Creative Zen Vision or similar) Does anybody know a good site that reviews stuff like this or can they recommend something?
Mainly want it for keeping photos on whilst I am away and maybe watching movies and listening to some music.
Also anything I should bear in mind when buying in the states?

ps: I'll be buying it in San Fran, so any if any locals can suggest good stores for this sort of thing
