ok guys it's friday afternoon. I've searched some archives but Nervy's quality post about the airhorns means I'm gasping for more...!

So, funny stories or dares that have been done at parties? Maybe some cool fireworks partys? (I can't be the only one to have a roman candle fire 20 shots at him!)...

please, fill my friday afternoon with glee

A guy I was at uni with once surf-boarded down the stairs on an ironing board. He was called Stuart, but everyone called him Crazy.

You could try the ladle/spoon game.

Two contestants sitting opposite each other with a spoon/ladle in their teeth (you could share...). One bends their head between their knees and the other takes a swipe with the spoon at the exposed bonce.
You'd be amazed at how useless you are at it.
And then when your turn comes....

WHALLOP!

Since I'm insane I was knocked stupid and people were getting mutinous. If you've not guessed when your turn to go heads down comes someone whacks you full force with the spoon. I'm such an innocent.

Flaming spoons.
You need a desert spoon and a bottle of spirits. Pour a measure of spirits onto the spoon and light it. The objective is to drink the spirit.

Sounds easy

Till you see a spoon of fire coming at your face

Unless you are brave you bail at the last moment sending flaming spirits all over (mainly yourself) to the amusement of the audience. It's got everything. Fire. Humiliated mates (on fire). Drinking. It's a winner

Dont know if this interest you but one of my favorites was a practicle joke done by thelads on Jackass.
One of their dads loved to mow his lawn on a drive on lawn mower.
When they knew he was due to do it Knoxville & co dug a massive pit in the lawn and then covered the pit in grass/leaves to make it invisible.
Then they hid and watched the dad start mowing the lawn before inevitably falling, with mower, into the pit.
The look on his face was priceless.

Jackass is amazing. When I saw the movie in the cinema I thought they'd have to stretcher me out. It truly was a sextuple rofler

the opening bit where he hires the car and takes it into a demolition derby before returning it had me in tears.

I had a couple of mates ages ago that got into a practical joke war with each other. It got kind of serious, so the rest of our group of friends had to step in and call truce. Couple of memorable practical jokes from their battle spring to mind though... actually it was these two that caused us to intervene.

1. Mate1 had to go on a week-long training course in Wellington (I was living in Nelson, New Zealand at the time) and was flying over. Knowing that Mate1 would be leaving his car at the airport for a week, Mate2 planned ahead and 'borrowed' Mate1's car keys and had a copy set made up. The day Mate1 left, Mate2 went to the airport carpark, opened up Mate1's car, lifted up the back seat, put a load of already rotting fish in the cavity and replaced the seat. This was mid-summer, 30+ degrees temp and the car was outside in direct sunlight for the whole week... Mate1 returned from his course, opened his car, jumped in expecting nothing, got hit square in the nostrils by a stench worse than Satan's arse and immediately vomited all over his dashboard. Took him a while to find the source of the smell, but no amount of cleaning got rid of it and he eventually had to sell the car very cheaply through auction.

2. Revenge. Mate2 had a New Year's Eve party at his house later that year. Mate1 had planned his revenge, so kept feeding Mate2 shots, strong cocktails, spiked drinks etc to make sure the guy was going to get completely paralletic that night. While plying Mate2 with alcohol, Mate1 snuck into Mate2's bedroom, took the pillowcase off one of the pillows on his bed, crapped on the pillow and replaced the pillowcase. Mate2 got more and more drunk as the night continued, to the point where he eventually did his usual disappearing act and crashed out in his room. Being that he was near-comatose, he didn't even notice his little 'present' until the morning when he woke to a deeply unpleasant stench all of his own and his pillow stuck to his face with dried shit. Cue Mate2's own little vomitting session...

It was funny watching those two for a while but we really did think they were going to kill each other with what ever was coming next!

I once put a chocolate bar down the back of my mates trousers while on holiday with the lads.

He was pi55ed, and was in bed a sleep, the rest of the lads and I thought it would be a good idea to stick the chocolate down his shorts.

In the heat it must have covered him, But he never mentioned a thing the next day!!

Try videoing the toilet flushing in your bathroom from a position somewheer in the corner of the room.

Next time the target comes around and goes for a pee, pop the video on for when they come back into the room.

Looks just like you have CCTV in the bathroom and have been watching them pee. Works even better for ladies, who judging by their reaction must do something they are truely ashamed of in there.
