What are the hottest and coldest temperatures youve experienced? I once played in a tennis tournament for nearly an entire day in the middle of a canadian summer, the high reached 40c.

And the coldest was -30c (again in canada) which with the wind chill factor was reduced to -47c iirc.

One of the ladies in the office has been snowboarding in Banff and it was -40c (excl. wind chill factor). Minus 1c in this country and I feel like I'm suffering from hypothermia and frost-bite!

I'd love to visit Canada, though. *sigh*

I used to be a regular 50+ degrees in my car after sitting in the sun for a day in 40+ degree heat. Some of the cheap interior plastic melted, even had the vinyl on the seat melt once . Sweat used to pour off like a river, god forbid you would ever wear shorts though, vinyl seats get very hot, and try holding the steering wheel or gearstick, no chance, you have to keep your hands moving at all times or you'll burn them.

Coldest was probably however cold it gets in scotland during winter.

Apparently 52 degrees whilst in Chile in the middle of their driest summer ever was my hottest.

Got down to below -20 on a regular basis when I lived in Moscow, and maxed out at -30.

Le Mans this year was the hottest I've ever experienced. About 40c. The thermometer on the car was reading 50c. That's a rag-top with a black roof, and leather seats! Warmest I've been while ouside.

Coldest Goose Bay Canada, -35c. One guy fell out of a fire exit (very drunk) and froze to death.

45 degrees while cycling in China. Had to cycle 120km on the hottest day.

-35 at night in Val d'Isere town this January, but it apparently got down to -45 up on the mountain according to the weather broadcast. Not that anyone would be up there at night.
