My mate is looking for insurance for himself to go private hire. He is new to the game and is looking for a competitive price.

Cheers.

Black cab in the Manchester area £4000 or for a first timer £5000.
No claims bonus is only built up on the Taxi policy.

Private hire about the same my Taxi owner friend said(black cab owner).

It certainly is mate. His little misdamenour didn't set him back.
Yeah, that does make sense ZR1cliff. Cheers.

I don't know why he doesn't join up here and then he can ask all these questions himself.

Thats what mates are for Groucho and i reckon he owes you a or two, glad your mate got through ok but he's going to need some self control and a sense of humour out there with other motorists, some punters(specially at nights) and bell ops grinding him down, good luck to him.
