hhhmm. stage 2 of grumpy old git-dom seems to have me firmly in its grasp.

Ive noticed this morning that i actually get more visibly irked about the things that bother me only slightly: the more slightly they bother me, the more consumed by irk-ness i get. animated almost. in fact its the things that i cant even quantify why i hate them, that bother me the most. and i don't know why.

however, I'm assuming this is enough. hell, i reckon at my age, Ive earned it.

so, heres my current top three of things that get me riddled with venom, for no good reason. whatsoever.

1: that ocean finance advert, where the bloke says 'they'd better not cancel football'.

2: people who eat noisily.

3: itunes constantly asking me if i want to download a newer version, despite my clicking 'no' and 'don't ask me again'

so, to validate my madness/ cantankerous nature, lets have your lists folks. the rules are that you aren't able to justify your annoyance in any way, its purely irrational. in short, if it makes sense, you cant have it.

Indeed... that really annoys me... also those sweaty mongoloids that lack the ability to eat with their mouth closed. Tsk!

the mouth open thing is good. on a slight tangent (i figure I'm allowed to hijack myself) does anyone know if there is a genuine biological connection between people of a certain mental faculty and the mouth always being slightly agape?

also, the scouse accent. i have nothing against folk from liverpool, but the accent just sounds like fingernails on a blackboard to me. god alone knows why. it actually makes me itch to shout 'shut up shut up shut up' everytime i hear it.

Grumpy Old Women
Mon 24 Oct, 10:00 pm - 10:30 pm 30mins

The biological clock has stopped ticking for these grumpy old women - so funnily their patience with babies, toddlers and young mothers seems to have entirely run out. Contains strong language. [S]

The SafestyleUK windows ad. You know, the one with the long-haired, bearded tw@t - "You buy one, you get one free. I said.........." "Call 0800 blahblahblah NOW!"

Also the same firm's other ad with a fat bird saying much the same along with Cannon and Ball.

Irks me to the point of murderous rampage!

In the States we call 'em mouth breathers, I think they inherit it from their uncle-dads. Nervous.

People who sign off a post as though they'd just written a letter- despite the fact that it says whos posted to the left.
Dont know why it annoys me, it just does.

The great unwashed loitering outside shops with their brats in their prams. Smokin a fag, talking to the other unwashed. When the brat starts up they shout "Oi, Courtney/Finn/Britney, shut yer fing maff. Oi'm fing talking orroit?" just as I walk past with my well behaved kids. ("Daddy, I wish those people would stop saying fk all the time. It's a ct of a word."
