The car insurance is due for renewal in 4 days so i have been looking round for a cheaper quote.
I`m with AON and they want £297 so i contacted E Sure and they quoted me £243 but the nice young lady was in India or somewere.

Now what do you do?, support your fellow workers and keep as much of the service industry as you can in this country or just go for what suits you.

Well i`m pleased to say i stuck to my principles and did my little bit to keep the girls at AON in a job.
If we just sit back and let the global economy take complete control we will all go down the pan.

I don`t always buy British goods but you have to make a start somewere.

But what happens when you need to go through the Call Centre to make a claim ?

I know where my money would go. I don't mind paying a bit more for better service and to support UK workers.

The subcontracting of such tasks to Indian companies is merely part of the natural evolution of capitalism which in the end makes us all richer.

If I were you I would have gone for the cheapest quote.

Makes no odds.

The outsourced call centre market is shrinking because of the annoyance it causes.

Being an all British call centre is starting to become a USP and its winner customers.

Oh Call centres are bad enough without adding a language barrier.

It is with me...if I found out an ins. co. only had overseas call-centres, I didn't ask them to quote this time around.

Why? Because of the sheer grief and hassle both me and Becs had last year trying to explain some reasonably straightforward concepts to the NU people in India!!!

How do you know that AON don't have call centres in India, with better fake English accents?!

We do have call centres in India - but they do not deal with queries from the UK. Unless you query is pertaining to a market / policy in said country!

I've got my car with AON. Great service and policy so far.

However I have a bad feeling I'll be blowing my mileage limit as I can't stop driving it

Except that there is a difference between cost and value. I have always thought that it's a false economy.
