Wow, Tariq Aziz has credibility all of a sudden

Who's betting another round of humiliation for the US senate?

Got to be careful with Galloway because he has a habit of suing people.

So I will just say he is allegedly a corrupt barsteward

The verbal assault the senate had to endure was punishment enough for them. Is the senate immune from prosecution (or is that the government?) in the USA?

The US don't have slander and libel laws like ours. Plus the accusations against Galloway were made under an agreement with the UK Govt that means, in effect, Sen N Crawford can say what he likes as it comes under parliamentary privilege (ie, you can't be sued).

It's the same here. You can libel someone in the house of commons and the accused can't sue. Say it outside of the House of C and it's a different matter......

You would've thought they would have let it lie after the last time he saw them off at the senate.

If he lied under oath then he should be charged with perjury, he's already said he's willing to go there.

As Georgie - Boy said Put up or STFU.

my understanding of libel is that it has to be untrue ?
