SAW (2004) [small](not the latest Saw II)[/small]

Watched this for the first time over the weekend and thoughly enjoyed it.
One thing I couldn't work out....

Why was Adam in the room?

I understand Dr Gordon and the others, but I must have missed why he was?

Anyone know ?

It has a pretty scary premise that might be disturbing if you have a certain mindset.

Not the best film ever but well worth a look.

I rented this movie yesterday and it's sat on my desk now tempting me. For some reason I'm not excited about it though. Rented it a few months back and never got round to watching it then either.

I just found it really freaky and ed up.

I had to go and watch Legally Blonde afterwards to try and get it out of my mind.

Brilliant film, I watched it at the cinema at a late night showing and you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife!

Adam was put in the room for basically being an angry slob who took pictures of people.

As a film it is crap, but as entertainment it is really entertaining crap ( bit like eastenders ).

The scene when the guy is looking round his flat with no lights using the camera flash is genuis, the bit that got me though was the pig man crawling into the back of the car.

Good "old school" horror film.

Well just watched it and thought it was pretty naff. I much prefer psychological thriller/horror films to traditional paranormal crap (except for The Shining - top dog). But this film didn't really explain itself fantastically. It doesn't explain how the bad guy did everything that he did, and doesn't even end properly.

I have a genuine fear of clown and puppet imagery, but they were't really put to great use in this film.

probably the best film ive ever seen. watched it twice (and i never (if i can help it) watch a film more than once)

The old gal doesnt like horror films, so i lured her in by saying it was girly chick flick of some sort...hummm.

love the ending..what a twist!!

The plot got a little lost but the premise was very good. The acting was dreadful though, and the 2nd time i watched it the way in which lines were delivered from Leigh Whannell made me cringe...

good film though.

I loved how the cop was able to miss the bad guy, with a shotgun, at lwss than 10 yards, in a narrow hallway.

I found it to be a pointlessly crap movie. It plays out much like a whodunnit, then when the bad guy is revealed it turns out to be someone there is no clues pointing toward at all. It was like the writer pulled the ending right out of his arse at the last minute.
