can someone tell me the directions as i know where Cobham is but i'm not sure where to find the Fairmile pub, i live in Croydon so will be coming down the A3 from wimbledon.
for the information of rev-erend i may well be bringing my other half but she doesn't work for the inland revenue (unless she's been hiding something from me for all these years)

Easiest way is head down the A3 and take the A245 turn off to Cobham (if you reach the junction with the M25 you've gone too far). Take the first exit off the round at the end of the slip road, then go straight across the next roundabout, which is just before Sainsbury's Petrol Station. Carry on until you reach a further roundabout and turn left at it. Stay on this road until you leave Cobham (you'll climb a hill and then pass a Shell garage on the right hand side of the road). When you enter the 40mph limit, the pub will be on your left in a few hundred metres time.

Thanks for the directions and map, having looked at the map i know where it is as i used to work locally and used to drive to the Kingston and Richmond areas by driving on the A307 so shouldn't get lost.
