Top Gear Re-Run Featuring the Tuscan Last Night

Did anyone see the TG re-run last night (on UK Living I believe) featuring the review of the Tuscan alongside the Wiesmann ?.
The TG team seem to like a bit of TVR bashing, particularly the "Hamster" who was complaining about the car being made from plastic even though he's just bought a wooden Morgan - at least TVR's are not prone to woodworm !.
They always seem to miss the point of TVR's and continually rattle on about build quality and reliability, often comparing them to other marque's that cost upwards of half as much again and yet deliver less performance.
I like the format of TG as a light entertainment programme, but when it comes to reviews conducted by Clarkson or the "Hamster" they are often lightweight and are all too obviously biased.
In my opinion, the best reviews carry no words and are those conducted by the Stig. In last night's episode he hammered the Tuscan round the track in 1.24.8 which puts it in 13th place in the TG list of fastest track times. As far as I know, that was a "bog standard" 3.6 Tuscan and not an "S" or Red Rose version AND the track was wet.
Virtually all the cars that were faster around the track fall into "super car" territory and the "super rich" money bracket.
I think Clarkson et al don't particularly like TVR's because they expose them for being the merely competant drivers that they are, rather than the "sh*t hot" drivers they think they are and that clearly only the Stig is.

Too bloody right mate. Let the Stig do the talking, if I remember correctly the Tuscan was quicker round the track than the Wiesmann as well 
, don't let JC and Hamsterboy get to you - one of them drives a LHD Porsche and JC has started to believe his own hype (which as we all know is not a good thing).
