fuel pump for Rover V8

Have just fitted uprated cam and induction kit to my 4L Chim. + tornado chip but no burning in as yet. Cam instructions say increase fuel pressure as makeshift measure. I could squeeze the present regulator a bit but it would be easier to fit an adjustable one. Anybody done this and,if so, does it make a ha'porth of difference to performance? It goes like a rocket anyway with Mark adams' chip.

Are you going to get Mark to map it on the rollers? if you already have the tornado chip you should be safe running it, the adjustable regulators do help but only for fine tuning the fuel pressure, btw the injectors should'nt be fed more than 50 psi long term as this affects the spray pattern and promotes sticking.
So yes they can help but if Marks mapping it anyway save your money,
