Anyway, if you're with me on this, Costco was the best Mobil One price I could find recently at sub £24 (including Victim Added Tax) for 4L......

As is usual with Costco, there's not a lot of choice of what's on offer. They had another Mobil (IIRC), but not M1, and one other brand (which I forget now).

Bit gutted really as Halfwits had 15/50 at £29 the other week and I only bought 1 can. Its now back up to £36 as mentioned. Knew I should have bought more....

About 4 years ago we went to France and I bought 2 gallons of Mobil 1, I just sold one for what I paid for it as the first one is not half empty yet. Ours hardly uses a drop!

Only in it's viscosity, 5w-50 or summat? I did check it out with Fernies before I got it and they said it's fine.

Twas what was in my Griff when I bought it from dealer & he recommended it. Have been topping up with same until next service, tho Dr Batty, who is currently favoured with my custom says he will put something semi-synthetic in like Castrol (Magnatex is it? not sure)

My local Asda had 1L cans of 5w50 Mobil 1 branded "Rally Formula" - not a grade I've seen before, but it's (almost) perfect for topping up when I run out of French 5w40 in 1 litre's time ce n'est pas?!

Gorners put Mobil 4T racing in mine last service which I think is the bike stuff. Does anyone else use this?
