Just had to request an RMA with Ebuyer for a USB TV tuner, any idea how long they normally take to be approved? If they dont approve it am I able to send it back to the manufacturer?

Only time I ever had a problem with a Ebuyer product was with a TFT monitor, IIRC they swapped it out within 48 hours.

Make sure you write "unchecked" on anything you receive from them as they can be right buggers if you've signed for it without stating you haven't had a chance to check its ok.

Usually takes about 24 hours.

Had nothing but problems... them cancelling orders (but taking money), sending the wrong items... absolute nightmare to deal with.

They do seem to have a bad reputation but I have had good service off them recently.

Ordered the wrong type of memory stick for a PSP and lodged an RMA request. They got me one in 48 hours.

I sent the kit back recorded delivery. I got an e-mail confirming receipt, then a mail confirming a refund about 24 hours later and my credit card was credited with the balance about 48 hours after that.

Personally, it all worked OK for me!

Funnily enough, I had an eBuyer delivery today. All perfectly correct and in good condition. Odd thing is, the postie forgot to ask for a signature at all. Wonder what would have happened if I then did request an RMA?

I also use Ebuyer a lot now, never really had any probs with their RMA procedure, never no fuss, unlike some other cowboy PC componant companies out there.

Ok, I got the RMA accepted, it was just that I had heard a lot of bad things about them and was worried I would have the same experience when returning stuff. All my purchases have been fine.

Ive had on and off dealings with ebuyer - if you're buying things, they're usually fine, but if you need to return things you start to hit problems. I recently bought a memory card reader, which arrived and simply didnt work. They replaced it once, and again, that one didnt work, so i asked for an RMA and requested my cash back. I havent heard anything since! luckily it was only a fiver, but it isnt really the point. Luckily if you dont need to send things back, they're great to deal with.
