just had a quick lookon e bay for 2 minutes as i like to keep a close eye on TVR prices and saw this.

i know no one has bid nearly that much but isnt £20k more than a tad optimistic for a 1999 4 litre chimaera?, i mean you can get an early Tuscan for that and i know which i would prefer,so is the seller dreaming or have i missed something?

Yes you're missing something. £20k sounds right bang on the money for a 1999 4.0. In fact, that sounds quite low to me. Classic British sportscar with a fat V8? £30k seems far nearer the mark to me.

Yup, nothing to see here folks. Chimaera prices are all very good. If a car's for sale for less than £20k, walk away, it's probably a lemon...

It is a 'tad' optimistic. Looking through the ads on PH, 1999 5.0 versions are asking 15-16.5K therefore I would expect a 4.0 to be 14-15K. Ultra low mileage is not necessarily a good thing because all cars like to be used, not left sitting around.
