Apparently it's been popping in and out of toilets for months - going to the bog doesn't bear (bare?) thinking about.

We had the same round my way with the 'Yellowman',he lived in a block of flats that have now been demolished and he kept mislaying a python,the thing used to turn up all over the flats,you knew when it turned up by the screams

Used to bring it in my cab when he took it to the vets,lovely thing

Reptiles love warm steamy places and in view of the recent threads on parrots becoming adaptable in the UK climate i wonder if their are many snakes,crocs,aligators,tropical types of fish etc that started out as baby pets only to be lost in the sewerage system
