Driving in to work this morning I saw a small people carrier coming the other way where the driver was leaning forwards and holding the wheel at 5 to 1, or worse. This got me thinking (difficult on a Monday morning!), what little signs from other drivers give the fine readers of this forum cause for concern? i.e. Should I adopt a more cautious approach with this driver? (Aside from road positioning, optional indication, inappropriate fog lamps, Kenwood stickers etc..)

I'm always wary of people that have got their mobiles stuck to their ears, as they are often in auto-pilot and are likely to cut you up without even noticing - even if you do have a bright yellow sports car !!!

MaxPower specials, baseball caps back to front, perpetual mobile phone users, suit jackets hanging in the back ( Ronny the rep ), tweed flat caps, unrestrained kids jumping around all over the place ....oh sod it, just be wary of everyone else on the road, its far easier !!

I hink you have to watch out for all and above except for some volvo drivers, I drive a volvo and an MR2 sports car and I hate motor ways and the speed limit should be lifted from 70 to 80 mph on a motor way and 60 to 65/70 mph on by passes and duel carrage ways and 20 mph in villages, towns, cities and kill all speed cameras too!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

BMW drivers who didn't take the optional extra of indicators (sorry to the 4 BMW drivers who do indicate !). Also the traditional Sunday afternoon driver - the ones where you're not sure anyone is driving the car when your behind them because they're so small. You can guarantee they will flash you in disgust after you overtake them when they are going 20mph in a 50mph limit.

Just think like I do, they're all idiots! My favourite is the repmobile that drives right up your arse and gets aggressive when you politely (not usually!) gesture for him to back off! Or the little boys in their Nova or XR2 that think just coz I drive a hot hatch I'm fair game for a race (I'll beat them anyway - its a matter of principle and being a woman driver!)

I agree, athough the earlier comment about Rover drivers,my everyday hack is a Rover 220 GSI, I dont hang/dither about, but I think those comments were aimed at the tartan rug equipted 214/25/45 brigade or anything with a "D" on the boot. A lot's been said about the people in certain cars, but I find the worst are absoloutly anyone in any Nissan. From the people "Born to be on the bus" in Micras, to the ones in Skyline GTRs - the on-board computers do all the tricky stuff, taking that job away from the "driver", if you get my point.
