Got a new Q6 e-tron. Wanted to schedule charge for off peak hours. Your can't schedule the car to charge on its own app or MMI (all you can do is set a depart time, but it just charges as soon as you plug it in as its on low charge so think it needs to start charging now to meet 90% for depart time).

When i switch off all car schedules and use my wall charger to schedule it (Anderson A3 which is compatible), when the schedule hits it just says "Vehicle not requesting charge").

Anyone else got a Q6 etron have this problem? If I remove all schedules from everything it charges, but I dont want to charge off peak and i font fancy getting up at midnight to plug it in.

Which energy supplier. If it’s octopus it’s beer to set the schedule at the charger rather than the car unless your charger is fully integrated to the cars operating system

I always use the charger to set the schedule, not the car and never had an issue (BMW). When I first got the car I used the car to schedule and had issues, once I swapped to using the charger it’s been trouble free.

We had a very similar issue (albeit on a Q4).

We concluded all the apps were fighting each other. So turnoff all schedules / departure timing / everything on both Audi app and the Octopus app. Then use the charger app (we have Easee) to set a 'start time'.

We get an error when we plug it in saying error in charging network, but come 11:30pm it does start. I also have to set the schedule every time on the Easee app every time - which is a bit of a pain but its only once a week for us and a 2 second job.
