PRV Pressure Test Rig
Discussion
I'm not entirely sure this is the right section, but it seems the most logical.
I have a requirement to buy/build a test rig for pressure relief valves.
Nominally 1/2" bsp - 2"bsp max and up to 6.0bar.
The valves are used with hot water systems so demin is an ideal testing solution. The testing will be steady state incline to operating and no instantaneous loading.
I've seen it done with a basic rothenberger with a calibrated needle gauge. Whilst this works I'm looking for something more accurate and repeatable.
Any and all suggestions welcomed.

Having done this thousands of times over the years employed as an Instrument Technician I can say that for what you want to achieve at the pressures you will be using your Rothenberger will do the job just fine, if you want more accuracy that the small gauge therein then consider something in the range you need from Keller.

They make the best digital gauges around and are easily set up to read "MAX" for instance so you can actually get to see the highest pressure measured in case it is between display samples.
