Three part Series
A few weeks old but no doubt it'll be repeated ad infinitum.
Explained the royal progression James/Charles 1/ Cromwell/Charles 2/Mary/Anne etc quite clearly. Shame about the continual gurning of the presenter

There's some good stuff on PBS America. The recent series about sieges was well done.

I was informed and entertained by the series on The Stuarts, too.

Fwiw, like a good chunk of the output on PBS America, that series was a BBC commission. Sadly it is not available on iPlayer. As is the way with the BBC.

I thought she presented it well. Probably not used to presenting.

There's a 'sequel', Stuarts In Exile, which tells the story of how the Jacobites tried to regain the throne.

she did , it was clear speaking (my hearing ain't so good), just the camera seemed to zoom in on her nose at which point she seemed to squint, pull away. Maybe it was the lighting shining in her eyes.
thanks for the heads up about the sequel
