RS4 Avant 2.9 or 4.0 which is the better

Hi all got a couple of cars I’m looking at the RS4 Being one of them, Not to worried about running costs just wonder which is the better car the 2,9 or the 4.0 I love the sound of the V8 has anyone owned either??? Thanks

Audi never put the 4.0 V8 in an RS4, are you perhaps referring to the B8 (2013-15) generation car?
