No, not *those* webcams wink

Inspired by The Mad Monk's post on the littering thread, I thought I'd make a thread about normal webcams filming everyday life in towns, cities, on cruise ships and the like.

One of my faves is the Geiranger Fjord cruise port webcam:

Edit: It turns out that they have unlisted their live feed so I cant embed it, here's a link instead - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMSc-qqW3To&li...

The cruise season is almost done now so there aren't many more ships docking until next year, but even without the ships and passengers I find it relaxing to watch while listening to a podcast.

Bit dead in the evening but during the day can be fun with tourists meeting irate drivers.

The webcams at Kalkan in Turkey. Wife and I went there on honeymoon in September 2023 and we've not been away since. Lovely to open it up now and again, cycle through the feeds, and have a nostalgic memory at an utterly wonderful and blissful two weeks.

About the only UK pedestrian crossing where neither party is exactly sure who is letting who drive through or walk across . . .

I was there the other Saturday, they had a girl operating traffic lights, and ushering groups onto the crossing.

Made me wonder why anybody would drive down that road?

I'm going to ignore the direct premise of the thread and tell you there's a button you can press that fires soapy bubbles into someone's back garden in Florida smile

https://andieandmike.org/bubblecam/

And this one lets you control a trainset in Australia (if you're first in the queue)
