Hi,

The rad in the WC need a spruce up with a sand down and a dash of spray paint.
Given it's a confined space, I want a face mask and found this one on Screwfix:

Suppose to be A2 P3 compliant so is this good enough for the job, or are there better alternatives for consideration too? Thanks!

Maybe better with one of the JSP Force 8 ones with appropriate cartridges?

Though personally I'd shut off and remove the rad for a easier life.

Dave.

It’ll take longer to mask / sheet up the entire room than to remove the rad.

Don’t underestimate the overspray!

I tried painting a rad with spay radiator paint but it made a right mess with runs of paint and that was with the radiator taken down and horizontal.

Possibly the problem was due to using the spray can on its side to paint a flat radiator.

I completed the job using a can of radiator paint and a brush to a good result.
