Ok, Friday night I hear a bit of noise outside and have a look - couple of pi$$ed oiks kicking a wheelie bin over and something else down the road. They then go and bust someones gate down. Turns out they had also smashed the mirrors of a couple of cars further up the road. Neighbour calls plod and gives description. 10 mins later the oiks are back shouting the odds and I see them smash the back window of a car - I'm on my mobbie to plod again as I follow them, hear them in a small carpark with a few bangs going on. They then smash another car window and are seen kicking in the side of a patrol car that is parked. Plod turn up 5 mins later in 2 cars and a dog and it seems the yobs were in another street and seen smashing the side window of a car. Anyway, it seems they caught them later that night and whisked them off to Wisbeach nick which is miles away:laugh:Plod come round the next morning and spend about 4 hours taking statements from all that saw the gits doing their stuff - great. Talking to one of the victims later it seems that the oiks were later released with just a warning as they we underage FFS. 4 people witnessed them doing this stuff, they caused £££ of damage and they only get a warning - it must of taken about 20 hours of police time, just what is the point if they can't touch them. If you are old enough to get lashed and then trash peoples stuff you are old enough to get done for it. Can these underagers just do what they like, you may as well just give them the money out of your wallet as it seems if they want it they could have that as well:mad:

And deeeep breath!

I entirely agree.

A year ago a girl local to me keyed 12 expensive cars in the space of ten minutes.

She was caught, admitted it with pride, and she got a warning.

Simply beggars belief.

Can't civil action be taken against the parents for recovery of costs?

I said to the BiB that I hoped they had "fallen down the station steps" and he said no but they were taken to Wisbeach which was almost as badso they agree with you on that one. I hope the little feckers parents had to go and get them.

Indeed. Friend of mine used to teach in Wisbech and she reckoned some kids turned up to school on tractors. She reckoned it was just a touch rough.
