2021 V8 Vantage - Secondary Cat Delete, anyone done it?

Afternoon, as per title really, anyone done it and was it worth the spend?

If you did whose pipes did you use or did you get a local fabricator to make you a set ?

Not had a 2021 car, but did secondary decat on my previous 4.7 and current V12S. Worth it for the noise alone, although there is a weight saving and some power released, maybe 10bhp.

Had some Larini decat pipes on the 4.7 and RPMotorworks on current car, both great quality and perfect fit, the latter are better VFM.

Did it on my F1, requires a tune to ensure you don’t get fault codes from sensors on the secondary cats. Made it sound better but the tune increased the pops and bangs a little too much for my liking

2021 has no sensors on the secondary Cats, only on the OPF filters which have already gone.

Surely on a 2021 AM6 the OPF were in place of secondary cats?

...hence why the likes of David Appleby offer cat delete pipes for earlier cars and OPF delete pipes for later ones.

You are 100% right, after some further investigation it appears I was getting myself confuddled, I have the DAE OPF delete pipes already... so might try an 11mode valve controller.

Lol, been out and about today, Ashton Vale, Chobham and Camberley, now back in Reading...

Only been out once in the last 3 days and that was just to Screwfix Hawley Lane!

This image of Red Road is from the Maultway side, and doesn't really show the dip at the bend, but coming from Lightwater I like to think of this as a mini Eau Rouge

Excellent ..... and at least you had a fix, I clicked just over 4k miles in mine since collecting it 7th July !!!!
