Good morning knowledgable people.
I’m trying to replace a seat on an aged ideal standard pan.
The pitch of the hinges is 268mm
Unless I’m being even more dense than usual…
I’m blowed if I can find one that isn’t V&B!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

V&B?

Hinge pitch?

It's a message to you handler isn't it?

You replace the hinges as well, and the things that screw through the pan to hold the seat on.

Those have offset hinge pins so that you can rotate them and adjust the gap between the hinges. A £15 job from Wickes will probably be fine.

£50.99 ?
Sheet!

I would have just replaced the whole thing complete for about 1/3 of that and you would have got a soft close one the same day from B & Q/Wickes etc.
