I keep seeing adverts for titanium frying pans making claims around non- stick and longevity.

I’m really lost in working out whether any claims are true and what would be an amazing frying pan with non- stick properties which will last ages

I’ve seen hexclad which looks good but also plenty of other adverts but would like any recommendation.

Happy to pay through the nose if needed for something which really is nonstick and lasts

My opinion, just buy stainless, don't overheat it and use oil/butter.

If you read genuine Hexclad reviews, you wouldn't buy them. The high price, in my opinion, covers the numerous returns that you will end up using once the coating wears off.

I've used all sorts of frying pans over the years and the best non-stick pan I have ever had is a cheap Russell Hobbs "grey marble" one. It has a PFAS free coating, so hopefully not doing any harm. It's really durable and nothing sticks.

Thanks for the replies.

I knew the titanium ads I was seeing were a scam but I just want something which will last more than 12 months . Having said that, at £15 , I don’t mind them lasting 12 months

Have some of the M&S ceramic coated ones for years with no issues, about £15-£30 and a lifetime warranty

Bought a ninja. Not gonna lie, thought it was just branded nonsense, but it's way better than the Eaziglide Neverstick which John Lewis sell.

I've got a set of Neverstick2 stuff, including roasting trays, and in terms of non stickness, they still perform well currently 5 years in. I don't them on very high heat though, maybe that's a thing.

I have a couple of viking Ti pans - they seemed to perform best in various reviews. They're very durable but far from non-stick. I can't recommend them as you have to use them like a stainless pan which defeats the object.

What the heck do you do with a Le Creuset frying pan that renders it needing replacement every 6 to 7 years redface

Ours are at least 30 years old and still as good as new. Well better actually as they have a lovely patina love

Their non-stick isn't as good as most competitors, but their guarantee is.

Cast iron frying pans - we have Lodge Skillets from when we lived in America where they cost about $10 each. When fully seasoned nothing ever sticks.
We have two 14 inch, two 12 inch and one 6 inch pan. All at least 20 years old and we love them.

I challenge you to crack an egg into one of yours without oil in it and report back and tell us "it's non stick"...........it wont be wink

I’ve seen similar comments before but I’m about three years into regularly using two hexclad frying pans and they are still working well, non-stick, easy to clean etc.

I do have an excellent stainless pan which has a bit more depth so works well for stovetop casseroles etc but it isn’t a patch on the hexclad for non-stick performance.
