This popped up in my feed earlier this week and I really enjoyed it. It’s an old documentary about Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager’s flight around the world. Thought others might enjoy it too, well worth a watch

That’s weird, popped up on my feed too. Started watching it this morning, really interesting.

I remember reading Jeana Yeager’s book about it all when I was a teenager and it’s fascinated me ever since . Great to see the film footage to bring it to life.

Rutan is one of aviation's greats - love the Ez ("easy") style planes, so different from all the other GA stuff out there, and look so cool with it.
(There was a modified LongEz racing at Roswell the other week in the Sport class - underpowered despite the mods, so didn't compete for the top-slots vs the Glasairs, but the slippery aerodynamics meant it didn't disgrace itself)
