So you see the A24 banner and you think another horror movie from the people who brought us Obsession and Weapons.

No.

It's worse, much worse.

Because it's real, it's a documentary and it was done with her full co-operation. Wow. Just wow.

Looking forward to this. She's scary AF.

Worth spending a few mins on her Wiki page if you're not familiar with the story.

Why is it scary? I mean, she looks a bit overly-engaged, but hardly horrifying.

Oh I don't know. The fact that she has such a deadpan look, sans make-up and 'Steve Jobs' roll neck on. Then you watch something with her in when she was pitching Theranos - the deep voice, the complete bs.

Wackadoodle - but not trying to just pick on her. Just look at the CEO's of Anthropic and Open AI - plus the young German hedge fund manager, Leopold Aschenbrenner. All of them have serious narcissistic tendencies.

I'd watch this just for the education on trying to spot a wrong 'un.

Very much this. She was lauded for a time as a visionary, inspirational blah blah blah.

Literal snake oil salesman, except she seemed to believe her own bs.

I wonder how many of the audience will walk out under deep hypnosis.

Let's hope the film was checked for subliminal messages.

Her mistake was getting involved in the medical trade.

No one waltzes in and starts 'disrupting' without everyone else examining them exceedingly closely.

She did keep it up for an impressively long time.

Hadn't realised that's what that show was about! I'll have to give it a watch.

Of course I'm not deceiving you.
I'm engaging with you as a human being.
Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that.
Even in those few seconds she goes from,

Not deceiving you.

There's no reason (you know of) for me to deceive you.

Entire passage is the playbook of a psychopath.

Another fun measure - look how often she uses "I" and "me". Good insight into their thinking and motivations.

Had to come back and post this.

At some point in the (not too distant) future (hopefully) capable people will use this woman and a certain President as reference material in the 'if you see these signs, then do not invest or believe them' Leadership and Management course at all secondary-level/high schools. Seeing as that seems to be the level at which some of our supposed 'brightest people' appear to have checked out of doing basis research/due diligence or just plain old - this is bullst, thinking.

She talks like she is about to shed her skin and reveal herself to be a lizard person from the planet Grobbler 7.

R rated. For language and 'some graphics nudity'. Right. There's a chance it might be Fielder hehe .

Just read the whole thing whilst laying in bed drinking coffee. Amazing stuff. So many interesting bits like her university period, alleged rape, relationship with a man 19 years older who then became the business partner

Raising all the money, the skeptical, the secret investigation, the legal threats, the fake claims

She's clearly nuts!

His American accent drives me mad. Why is it so overly pronounced and "thick" sounding.

I work with some Americans who talk like this. As bad as vocal fry
