Need a link for the bracelet but struggling to find one the correct width. The ones I can find are 15!or 18mm but I hat I need is exactly 5/8" or 15.8mm.

Does anyone know who to go to for the right size other than AP?

Ebay lists a "genuine used" AP Royal Oak 16mm bracelet link from Japan
I wonder if this is correct for you

Thanks. I've managed to find a few listed in Germany and the U.S. but so far they're reticent to confirm they'd fit a 5402ST A series. They do look right.

I had a bit of a scout over a coffee this morning to see if I could find anything.... I failed.

Horribly expensive from AP, but for such a valuable watch it might be worth coughing up.

There are, of course, some decent (ish) after market complete bracelets - you could store your original bracelet and wear the watch on another.

Thanks. That's the current thinking. I'm lending it to a mate and he is clearly more butch than he was the last time he got married so I don't fancy buying a kosher link just for 48 hours.

You'd be cheaper buying a clone and lending him that instead :-)
