New Octavia vRS Estate - loving it

Swapped my aging diesel vrs estate (67 plate) for a 5 month old petrol one last week. Feels like a massive upgrade.
My old one had ZERO options (actually, one, I think, rear parking sensors). Got super lucky with the new one - found one with Canton, sunroof and Winter Plus (heated front seats, wheel and windscreen), and only avg mileage for 5 months, was 12k under the rrp price with those options.
Feels a lot pokier for it's extra 85 bhp, exhaust certainly sounds better, albeit it is a bit thirstier too (although I guess that might settle down a bit when the novelty wears off in 3-4 years!). Seeing about 33mpg at the minute v 48mpg long-term in the diesel.
Anyway, that was all.

In a slightly similar vein, back in July I traded our family bus '21 Discovery 5.5 D300 (which we've owned from new), for a brand new Kodiaq vRS. With 4 kids I need 7 seats, so on the last few days of the qtr, me and my other half went out for the morning to tried all brands teamed to strike a deal. Ironically Skoda was the last place we visited, where my local dealer was running an offer. The discount I obtained effectively gave us 29% off the list price, which was a combination of discount and also extra for the Disco as p/x. This was on condition it was a stock car to be registered by end of the qtr. I looked at the options list and decided I wanted the full leather suite upgrade, dark grey paint, and the pan roof, so he found me one in group to my exact spec and I snapped it up.
So far it's exceeded all my expectations. vRS performance is swift, full leather is luxurious and the seats super-comfortable, It'll easily deliver 37-40mpg on my regular motorway run, the Travel Assist function (Semi-Autonomous Driving) is amazing(!), and the new highly customisable DCC+ adaptive dampers system allows me to soften the suspension up to a place where, honestly, it's hard to differentiate the comfort from the outgoing Disco!
As an all-round family-bus package, there's nothing that came close for £ v my needs. A bargain in my book. Pick-up day picture...

The Kodiaq looks good! Have you lost much space over the Disco 5?
With all 3 rows in play, the boot on the Kodiaq is bigger (more usable floor area/space). The kids say the 3rd row is a bit narrower, and the leg area in the 3rd row is a bit shallower, but those in the 2nd row say it' feels bigger.
