Edelbrock Inlet Manifold

Hi just checking this Edelbrock inlet manifold
that I want to fit to my ‘64 327 SBC. I’m
swapping my original cast iron item for this
aluminium item. Has anyone got one of these
on their Corvette & does it give any trouble?
Another thing can I paint this Chevy orange as
It’s ally - use an etch primer first? Many thanks
for any help you can give.
