Looking to get a couple of neff n90 ovens.

Then use Alexa to control them, as my eyesight is poor.

I wont be able to see the led display so only via alexa.

Anyone done this?
Does it work fine?

Im a tad nervous about it as Alexa can be a pain in the ass and hit and miss with streaming music, etc.

Thanks

Possibly a daft question but can you see a mobile phone screen as the Neff app runs the entire operation from your phone - it’s straight forward to use

If it is all dohe from a phone or iPad possibly.

But its a pain trying to zoom in etc..

Apple, Samsung etc pay lip service to accessability in many regards..
Accessability worsens faster than my eyesight.

I don’t know if it’s just us, but we find Alexa pretty bloody hopeless - the one in the lounge seems to need constant re-setting and others don’t seem to work unless you basically yell at them and even then it’s touch and go. I was trying to set a timer last night while cooking and even that was hard work!

The neff app works ok on the phone for turning the oven on before you get up to sort the food. The app could be cleaner and more logical, but it does work. We haven't tried Alexa, but like the idea of it if someone has any insights....
