ECU replacement 4.2
Discussion
Any one replaced their ECU
Emerald or other
My rebuild is almost complete, however when driving there is absolutely no power.
Not sure if I have ECU problems, or if it just needs a remap.
However with the state the car was originally in (almost everything was stripped) I’m worried the ECU is either wrong, or broken or something missing.
Im catastrophizing in case I need to replace the ECU, and just looking for some advice

OP, you don't mention whether your Cerb' is a V8 or Speed6 engine?
It's really hard to diagnose remotely from your description of "no power". Is it misfiring, or will it not pull a high gear, will it not rev?
I would recommend that you speak to Joolz at Kits & Classics in Chesterfield - who might advise that you bring/transport the car to put it on his dyno and getting the diagnostics checked....In the long run, that will be the better (and cheaper) option, rather than replacing parts willy-nilly.
