Hey gang, I've not posted in this part of the forums for a while. I'm trying to reignite my photography fire by shooting some film. I shot a roll of 15 year old expired film just to test out an old Leica Mini 2 point and shoot from the 80s. I didn't load the film onto the sprockets properly and have ended up with some double exposures. Really like how they came out though so thought I would share.

Yep - a definite happy accident there! The double exposure has somehow worked better with the expired film. Almost as if it was all done on purpose!

Yes those have turned out quite cool, looks like a deliberate artistic effect!

A different happy accident, not film but I got this when whatever panorama stitching software I was using at the time got confused by a full 360° sequence but I quite enjoyed the result:

Thanks guys. I've bought a Rolliecord and was planning on doing some double exposures with that then this happened biggrin

I'm going to shoot Goodwood Revival with film so trying to make sure all my gear is good. I'm taking the Leica Mini II, the Rolliecord and a Canon EOS 35mm so I can use the EF lenses I have for my DSLR. Will probably restrict myself to one camera a day to keep it light weight.

Nice. I shot the Revival quite a few years ago with my Leica M3 and some B&W film. The event is so well organised & set up, that shooting in film lends a certain “look” to the photos. I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time, and post some photos up on here when you get back.

I went to Brooklands for an event and took my Pansonic MFT and my mobile phone on a gimbal. I had lunch in my car, then returned without the Pan and gimbal, and with my Voightland Vito B. I'm well into my dotage and some of the looks I got were of the, 'silly old fart' type. But it was nostalgic. There was a glitch in the shutter that I've since sorted so had no images.

The Vito was remarkably heavy, and the 'ever-ready' case a bit naff.
