Need a Solution for Spraying Wet & Forget on Garage Roof

I've been using a telescopic pool and scraper to remove decades of moss from my garage roof.

I would now like to spray wet and forget after testing on a lower corner.

I tried to use a battery powered pressure washer to take it from a bucket, but it keeps stopping after 30 seconds or so, no idea why. It's just a cheap one, but in theory works really well and reached the ridge top.

Happy to buy another up to £100 if it works.

I was also thinking of a telescopic lance which I could perhaps connect to my 16L Knapsack sprayer, but unsure about compatibility.

Any other suggestions?

Let everyone see your pressure washer is running from a bucket then surrepticiously swap the feed to the mains

You don’t say but is this a hosepipe ban issue? If not, just buy the version with a “sniper” nozzle (pink version of wet and forget).

I'm in Scotland, nothing to do with hoze pipe ban. It's more because we don't get wet and forget ready mixed out our taps up here 😂😂😂

Thanks, never heard of that, looks like it would work as hose as more than enough pressure to reach the top of the roof.

Can you then refill with normal wet and forget?

I tried to re-use one of the pre mix (pink) containers, but it’s designed so that opening the container makes it leak…

This was a couple of years ago, so maybe it’s changed ( or I had a dodgy bottle), but mine pissed water out after I undid it, refilled it and did it back up…

Car snow foam attachments are pretty good spread wise but obviously you need a pressure washer to use.

No, wrong dilution and missing a surfactant to help it stick on sloped roofs.

I have one of these, works pretty well. Very long length. It didn't quite fit any of my various sprayer threads, but a lot of PTFE helped. Easier to do with 2 people.
