How much will this be? I have no idea. 300k ? 2million?

I’ve no idea these days.

But I’m sure it would sell loads at the lower price point!

It's not ugly is it? By far the best looking McL since the F1 to these eyes.

I've seen $1.5M starting price, no idea if there's any truth to it.

Not sure I'm sold on the looks - from that angle, it's a bit...... Lotus Evora maybe?

But I can't afford it anyway!

I thought this would just be a "normal" 300k car, if it is 1.5+ then that is just ridiculous

Does look nice. Typical. Just finished making in-head excuses for not selling all worldly possessions to buy the 788HS Spider and now I’ve got to start all over again

Why can’t it be £300k ? And sell 10’000 of them! Then I can buy one in a few years at 100k

I love it, perhaps less so if it is $1.5M, granted. The departure from the speedmark lights to something almost a little LMP looking is superb to me.

That said I think the Evora is lovely looking too!

If it uses 750S underpinnings, with a manual box, perhaps it could hit the 300 cost per unit?

Nice prospect smile

Rather lovely but I sadly suspect it’s going to be stupid money.

Be nice if it wasn’t though and wasn’t limited.

Although I was very very reluctant to give up a proper manual when I bought my first McLaren (I still had a manual 360 for the first year so it wasn't too bad) - I actually think I'd rather stick with paddle shift these days!
Heresy I know

For regular everyday use, paddle shift wins. I pretty much only used 720S paddle shift for changing down. I left it in auto 99% of the time. Haven’t really had the opportunity to spend some decent seat time in the 650S yet.
For weekend machine it would be hard to choose. The TVR Tuscan I had was a b@stard in traffic and around town, but really enjoyable when pushing it on.

Could save £2m and buy a Maserati MC20, looks the same anyway!

Still have my V 12 vantage manual, but it gets very little use these days. Especially because I m now left foot braking all the time with the 650 and it s not so easy to switch back-and-forth.
