Just been quoted over £2,000 to fix 'brake wear'.
Car has 54,000 miles and I'm guessing it's just new pads.
Do I suck it up and pay it or is there a better way. No, I can't do it myself.

that will be disks and pads, disks don't last as long as they did. Or at least I hope it is as 2K to replace pads would be criminal.

But its an easy job DIY on most cars. especially on 4-pot calipers when you dont have to remove the caliper. On the Impreza brembos, it took about 30 minutes.

Any good independent garage will be able to do it. The only sticking point is the rear pads which are A110 specific and are probably on backorder in any case. Front pads are same as Clio 197, discs are readily available in either size (various links have been posted on here before and likely to be better than the OEM ones for less money).

The trick to get the rear calipers to wind back to service mode has also been posted before.

Rocket.

Brembo disks for these are the same as the Clio you can buy those for about £250 for all 4, similar amount for pads and a local garage who is half decent should fit them in a few hours, max you should be paying is about £800 all fitted imo.
