Hi, wasn't this previous on auction and sold? What's changed?
Hi FZB,You are correct, unfortunately the winning bidder had an un expected personal circumstance after winning the auction and could no longer complete the sale of the car. Hence the car now being re-listed and removed from our sold section.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you for the messages.
Yes the car is kept in a heated garage at all times.
Yes it starts first time every time - the engine is a real strong point of this car and pulls like a train.
The paint is very good - I think the bubble is a reaction in the paint as opposed to any rust as there isn’t any corrosion elsewhere and as I’ve owned it for two years it would have become apparent by now. I have been happy to leave it as it is because it doesn’t really detract from the overall appearance.
I’m not sure why the last buyer withdrew but Pistonheads said it was a very genuine reason and one they hadn’t encountered before hence the re listing. You can see their response in the comments confirming the same.
I’m only selling because we have a new baby and the car really doesn’t suit a modern car seat so would probably sit in the garage unused which is a shame.
Classics like this deserve to be used and it’s certainly admired whenever I take it out.
Happy to answer any more questions. Thanks
