Bit heavy on the make-up but seems to be the right character. And an Aston (not a Lotus or BMW) will do no harm at all.

Craig is a good choice. Thank god that plank Owen didn't get it. I still don't get Hollywood's attraction to him! Regardless of the actor I'd love to see them return to the good old days of Bond before cars with cloaking devices and all the other cheesy xXx bullshit.

Connery, Lazonby & Dalton did the character proud IMHO. I think Craig will find a place on that list.

They should give Bond a Bentley. I'm worried Aston's image is getting a bit "Premiership". I wish it were not so...

I would have prefered Clive owen.

As for the film another vote here for a "proper" spy yarn, more "From Russia with Love" less "Octopussy"

cold blooded nessecary violence needed to take out spy's not extravogant explosions and special effects.

So who's going to be the Bond "love interest" this time? Will James will be making another change of direction?

I don't think the actress has been cast yet, but it will be Vesper Lynd. Bit of a dark story there if they stick to the book, but I won't give it away for those that have not read it.

I will say that the last line of that particular novel is classic Bond.

Cool profile pic, Gruffy. Where was it taken, clear blue skies, and all?
Thanks. It was taken at dusk in a truck refilling station on the coast road near Brighton. Spur of the moment thing (had a couple of hours to kill before my girlfriend arrived home and I could get in). Didn't even have a tripod with me, hence the 'on-the-floor' angle.
