Brake hose excessively deteriorated?

Obviously I'm not MOT trained but this looks dirty, rather than excessively deteriorated or am I wrong? .

Hard to tell from those pictures as the lower half is poorly lit and out of focus. It looks like it could be covered in surface cracks of you zoom in, would need better pictures to be sure.
