Just bought a 'dream car'! Nissan 370z Nismo

Just picked up a 2015 Red Nissan 370z Nismo...a dream car for me (within this area of budget hehe)....its very loud,very high tax but i dont care,its took me a long time to get one. The amount of attention this thing gets is unreal,and its a big **** you to EV's. 
I was also lucky to get one on just 45K mileage,its in very good condition.

The next service is at 54k and that's the Biggie where you change the plugs. I did mine @52k and they were like new but I run mine exclusively on V-Power.
I've had both front wheel bearings fail on me but that's probably down to the crap roads, if yours gets a bit noisy don't spend £400 from the online Z specialists, look on SKFs' website which will send you to their Amazon shop and it's about £140 for a front wheel bearing assembly. Budget for an ABS sensor cable too as they're very fragile!
The drive by wire throttle takes a bit of getting used to, after a steady cruise they tend to go to sleep on you leaving you without any throttle response if you need to pull away a bit sharpish.

Cheers - have you got one? Its had a new clutch and flywheel from Tarmacsportz in February. Its also got 'Malian' short tails fitted to the exhaust - its very LOUD in the cabin when you hit 3k revs - do you know anything about these? I had Invidia Gemini on my previous 370z GT,and that was really nice - but that was a whole new system.
Excellent choice! Great colour for it as well.
My girlfriend has had a 350Z for many years now, spent far too much on it (including a full colour change respray) but for her it's her perfect car, besides an R8 but I told her she's gotta keep this one a while longer now having had the respray
They just get under your skin and are a really enjoyable drive. Always thought the 370Z was a great evolution of the design.

Mine is a 19 plate on 74k on its original clutch. I had Invidia Gemini on my previous 370z GT,and that was really nice - but that was a whole new system.
Everything on mine is standard apart from pulling the steering lock fuse. If the steering lock fails it fails 'locked' and apart from the pain in the arse element of getting it to a garage it's also something like a £1k bill.
Tyre wise I use Falken instead of the standard Dunlops, rears last about 10k and fronts double that. The rears are a bit of an odd size with the rim being half an inch wider than a 370 GT and running a 245 front instead of the standard 235 is quite common if the interweb is to be believed.
Your tyre fitter will also thank you for the wider tyre too, the 235s can be an utter, utter b

Its just had all new tyres on,as it failed on the MOT in June. But they put deceny Kumho's on the rear and some budget 'Landsail' one on the front - im guessing thats all the garage had on the day - not ideal!Everything on mine is standard apart from pulling the steering lock fuse. You're in Yorkshire I guess? I'm just outside Skegness and I have a couple of part worn Dunlop fronts if you want them?
That looks fantastic. I’m always glad when someone picks something other than the default Cayman option when buying a sporty coupe. Obviously the Porsche is great, but the other choices often have more character and get under the skin.

But none of those are quite as 'rare' or special as a Nismo imo. The other one that stuck out was a Lotus Evora - but youre looking more at the £30K end with those.

I'm a massive fan of the 370, and I've had my Roadster for over 7 years now. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
It's great that it has an upgraded exhaust on it I reckon, and they really benefit from one in my view.

My GT has the Torquen resonated short tails. It had the stock Nismo system previously which was as quiet as the proverbial church mouse. With the resonated short tails it is quite a bit louder, but most importantly there is little drone and at constant revs - particularly on the motorway - it is as quiet as the stock system. Not perfect as it could do with a bit less drone around 1700rpm but thankfully that seems to be where you aren't regularly driving for any periods.
Certainly worth a look. One other thing I recently had done was a four wheel alignment - it was transformational. Much faster turn, less tramlining and feels more together generally, like a bigger MX5.
