Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of these electronic boost controllers? I'm having issues with mine, which I'd put down to a wiring fault but I had the car looked at yesterday and there's no issues that he could find, so it's probably the boost pressure sensor.

However, I'm not sure *where* that sensor is.

Is it inside the controller unit that sits in the car, or is it in the solenoid valve that sits in the engine bay, or is it somewhere else entirely? It isn't the MAP sensor on the car as far as I'm aware, it's a separate sensor specific to the boost controller.

Car is a Celica GT-Four (ST205) but that shouldn't matter for this question necessarily, as it's a standard boost controller.

From memory on that model, its in the control box for the head unit. - The control box has a teflon pipe with connects to a pressure source. Its the box where the headunit plugs into

Coolio, thanks. So, if I have an issue with the boost pressure being displayed on the head unit (specifically, it's pinned at -30 and the boost bar appears full all the time) I likely need to replace the controller box.

I'll see if I can source one off eBay, cheers!

Sourced a replacement controller (with control unit) off eBay, and switched the control unit out this morning. All seems well in the world, again!

Thanks.
