I noticed this weekend when I plugged in my charger that it no longer turns on when I plug it in.
I checked the connections and the outlets, I tripped the car's electrical system, but still nothing. I plugged it into my motorcycle battery and, miracle, it charges.
I just need to check the battery connections and drive the car. I ordered a new charger, but I don’t understand the problem. If any of you have an explanation.

Sounds like a problem a friend of mine had with his DB9 a few months ago. The charging point in the boot has two fuses - one for the actual charging function and one for the light around it I think it was.
I would get you the details but he is away at the moment, but worth looking into?

I assume you're referring to the "cigar lighter" socket in the boot?

First thing to do is get a multimeter and check if the charging socket is "live" and delivering 12V. If it isn't then there's your problem.

It brings to mind a splendid image of opening the boot to find a small Mr Mainwaring character in there smoking cigars hehe

After looking into it, I found the reason for the problem—a blown fuse. So if the same issue happens to you, there’s a 5A fuse that’s not listed in the fuse table, located in the battery compartment. Thanks for your help.

As I mentioned, my friend had a similar issue. just reading your update I remembered he found this wiring diagram https://db9s.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/db9%20... , and it appears you had the same issue. Fuse F17 for the illumination of the socket? Sorry I didn't think of this sooner!
