Fantastical documentary about the way a significant number (around 80) worldwide billionaires (mainly techies) are getting together to leverage the power of bitcoin to bypass conventional government and banking to begin to setup their own 'countries' where a form of 'democracy' is delivered based on how wealthy you are.
There is a lot of unfamiliar content which takes some unpacking, to such a degree that you start thinking it may be a spoof.... until it is stated that much of this is being driven by the Trump family, who are unsurprisingly making squillions out of it.
I'm going to watch it again just to make sure I did actually see and hear what I did last night. They're trying to take over the world. Almost unbelievable.
It's on BBC2 tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 11.05.
