Is it worth taking camping chairs? I'm reading conflicting advice as to whether than can be taken in or not, and if they can, it seems they can only be used in the Lennox enclosure? Which seems to be at Goodwood racecourse!!

I'm not sure they'd be allowed, but they'd be largely pointless as the track is lined by very large (4 foot high) straw bales.

These are ok to see over if standing, but if you sat down in front of them you'd only view straw all day.

We’ve taken chairs in before and plenty of people had them today don’t think you’ll have any issues with doing so

Seen people with those plastic folding step stools today, gives you a good 18” of extra viewing hight.
